Namibia Discovery Itinerary

ITINERARY SUMMARY

Set out on a 10-day self-drive adventure through Namibia, tracing a route that captures the essence of this vast and varied land. Begin in Windhoek, where a warm Namibian welcome and relaxed evening set the tone for the days ahead. Heading south, the Namib Desert unfolds in shades of red and gold — a world of soaring dunes and silent horizons. From your base near Sossusvlei, explore the iconic Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon, watching dawn’s light spill over the sandscapes in a palette of fire and shadow.

From the stillness of the desert, the road leads west to Swakopmund, a coastal town where the desert meets the Atlantic. Enjoy a blend of culture, cuisine, and adventure — from ocean cruises to dune explorations. Continue north into Damaraland, a region defined by its rocky ridges, ancient rock art, and desert-adapted wildlife. The journey reaches its wild heart in Etosha National Park, where shimmering salt pans and life-giving waterholes attract an astonishing array of animals. Evenings at Okaukuejo’s floodlit waterhole offer a front-row seat to nature’s raw theatre.

Your final stop is Cheetah View Lodge near Otjiwarongo, where conservation meets close encounters with Namibia’s iconic big cats. Reflect on the journey as you return to Windhoek — ten days of desert dawns, wildlife encounters, and open roads that reveal the rhythm and soul of Namibia.
