Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. I’ve always loved being outdoors, and some of my best memories are from family road trips, just driving, exploring new places, and enjoying the adventure together.
Your favourite time of year to travel?
I love traveling during the dry season, from May to October. The days are warm and clear, and the nights are perfect for sitting cozy around a fire, watching the stars. Namibia is beautiful all year round, but there’s something special about this time of year.
Your favourite destination?
Etosha is my favourite destination because of its incredible wildlife and vast open landscapes. Seeing animals in their natural habitat is such a thrill, and the excitement of spotting a lion never gets old. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful sunsets make every visit memorable. It’s a place that always leaves me feeling full of joy.
Your favourite lodge?
There are so many amazing lodges out there, but for me, I really love the ones that feel like camping with a touch of luxury, basically glamping. I enjoy feeling close to nature while still having a cozy, comfortable place to relax. That mix always makes my stay feel extra special.
What do you like to do when not working?
When I’m not working, I love to unwind by spending time with family and friends. Whether it’s going camping for the weekend or staying home and having a braai, socializing with family and friends brings me a lot of joy.
